Policies

General Policies


It shall be the policy of the UBBCA:

1. To support and encourage all forms of archery within the Province of British Columbia.

2. To co-operate with all other agencies within or without the province in order to further archery and bowhunting within the Province of British Columbia.

3. To communicate with the Provincial Government agencies in authority over bowhunting to develop the most comprehensive bowhunting program possible.

4. To co-operate with the Provincial authorities to develop a comprehensive program for bowhunter education, and to provide qualified instructors and comprehensive bowhunter education programs.

5. That Officers and Executive of the UBBCA be reimbursed their expenses in the following way:

a) Travel assistance of 20 cents per kilometer with a minimum distance of l00 kilometers (round trip) or,
b) Economy air fare with the prior approval of the Executive Committee.
c) Meals at a maximum of $30.00 per full day.
d) Accommodations at a reasonable rate.
e) Miscellaneous expenses to a maximum of 10% of the above.
f) Except for a) above, receipts will be required.

6. That membership fees be set by the Executive Committee at the direction and approval of the Membership at the Annual General Meeting and that there be the following membership categories:

a) Individuals $5.00 per year, $10.00 for 3 years, $50.00 for life membership
b) Affiliate Clubs $75.00.
c) Associate Clubs must enroll all members, at a percentage of the normal fees for individual memberships (set by Executive Committee) .

7. That a detailed financial report be sent to each member once a year.

8. That all Clubs receive a copy of the Constitution, Bylaws and Policies of the UBBCA upon request
